Faye Dresner, Principal

As president of Dresner Consulting, LLC, Faye Dresner brings a unique combination of social work training, nonprofit management experience, and business acumen to her practice. For two decades, Faye has skillfully channeled funding and expertise within a broad range of organizations in order to improve lives and communities.

Faye has served in manager and director-level positions with a variety of nonprofits, including social service agencies, a civil rights organization, and as the Senior Planner for one of Atlanta’s largest philanthropic organizations. In this same organization, as Director of Long Range Planning, Faye helped design and lead the nonprofit through a comprehensive organizational change process.

Faye values the variety of her work equally with her life experiences as essential to helping nonprofits operate more effectively and philanthropists align their giving with their goals. She has traveled throughout Europe and lived in Japan, Israel, and Germany. Faye earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently completing an MBA at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Faye sees her cultural and intellectual explorations as an integral part of what makes her effective.

From strategic planning to philanthropic advising, the common thread in her career is Faye’s dedication to community. “My ultimate goal is to make our community a better place to live. What better way to do that than to help nonprofits and philanthropists effectively invest their financial and human resources?”

Faye and her family currently live in Atlanta, Georgia.
