Case Study: Infrastructure Improves Ability to Generate Funding

Situation: A small international nonprofit located overseas created a fundraising arm located in the United States. The new division included a national board with members geographically dispersed all over the U.S. and needed help stabilizing the division in preparation for its first full-time executive director.

Dresner Consulting Work:

· Completed and helped implement strategic plan for U.S. fundraising.

· Coordinated selection of donor software, and development and launch of a website.

· Managed creation of solicitation and marketing materials.

· Designed internal operating and communications systems

Results:  With Board committees reinvigorated and a new website, donor software, and development materials in place, the new executive director was hired.  The organization is now on track to meet its fundraising goal for the current fiscal year.

Case Study: Reorganization Brings New Life to Failing Program

Dresner Consulting Work:

· Performed comprehensive analysis to understand factors causing clients to leave the program.

· Conducted extensive conversations with staff, families, participants, and service providers across the country.

· Recommended reorganization to improve operations and create fiscal sustainability.

Results:  A new Executive Director was hired and implementation of the reorganization plan is in process.
