Check out Jim Collins newest book about the vulnerability to decline of even the greatest companies, and how to stave off or reverse  the course of decline.  The book is rich with information useful to companies and nonprofits alike.  According to the author, decline is largely self-inflicted, and the path to recovery within the organization’s control.  Jim Collins also has a website with interesting and helpful information.
