Our Vision and Values

Simply put, we believe that it is everyone’s collective responsibility to enrich and improve community life.

Dresner Consulting, LLC was founded by Faye Dresner to create a vehicle for tapping the power of nonprofits and philanthropists to affect real change. Our practice is based on the knowledge that organizations and funders share a common goal: to wisely steward their resources to make a difference in people’s lives.

In today’s competitive and complex environment, this truth can be lost in the maze of strategic plans, tax shelters, and program evaluation. And, while these tools are essential, we believe that the successful organization or philanthropist must also bring courage, passion, and heart to the work of improving the community.

We recognize that how people work together is as important as what they do. We also know that accountability and discipline are essential in good stewardship. Our experience shows that business principles AND healthy relationships can create well-run organizations capable of inspiration, innovation, and real impact on lives and communities.
